Have a piece of the island to call your own!
ISLE LOVE BYOB Storage is a program by TISUP to bring SUP & Kayak storage solutions to Torontonians. We have a limited number of outdoor spaces available on the shoreline on Wards Island at our current location beside the Algonquin Bridge. This is a paddlers paradise and has access to the inner waterways of the island called the Lagoons. The Blue Flag Wards Beach is also nearby for open water paddling. We are a 5 minute walk from the Wards Island ferry dock.

DETAILS
Personal paddles and PFDs can be locked/stored outside to your board or boat. Lockers can be rented for an additional cost not yet determined. Another option is to simply bring the paddle and accessories home after use. This is a proven & safe method for the area. We do not have a communal indoor space. This shoreline area is next to our regular rental and experience operation so there may be TISUP customers nearby. There are washrooms nearby at the local firehall building.
Storage options run from May 1 to April 15 of the following calendar year. They are on a season by season basis and do not roll over to the next year. Please see the digital waiver and accept the terms & conditions at checkout through our system. Racks and area are not regularly checked/attended during the winter months.
Mandatory Security Solutions
Since this is an outdoor storage space, locking mechanisms are manadatory for all members and you will be asked to prove it upon bringing equipment to the racks. Please see a list below for some suitable options. We do not endorse any products, but simply want to help in this process. Lifejackets can be looped through a cable locking your equipment.
If you'd like to leave a paddle and have extra security, consider a paddle lock such as the ones below:
Good for SUP and mounts in the fin box or eyelets:
Good for boats and boards with no attachment/locking points:
A simple cable that can be fed through a loop or hole on your watercraft or the fin box mount for a SUP. It works very well considering there is no loop on the end and can be fed through small holes: Master Lock Python
