Important Info:
  1. After completing your booking you will receive an automatic email outlining your next steps. If you don't receive the email (check your junk mail first), click here for further instructions. 
  2. ​Please arrive on time. We may not be able to extend your booking if you arrive too late.
  3. Experiences are subject to inclement weather. If it is deemed unsafe to be on the water, we will cancel your booking and you will receive a full refund
  4. Lessons require a minimum of 2 guests to participate. You will not be charged and the lesson will not run until the minimum requirements are met

  • If joining a group lesson as an individual, the class must have at least 2 people for it to run. Prepare to change the date if this is the case. You will be notified if the class does not fill up.
  • Automatic family discount for groups of 3+ people (10% off), 6+ people (15% off).
ADDITIONAL INFO:
We offer an additional hour for $10 after every lesson for guests to practice their skills and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Toronto Islands. However, during the months of August and September, the additional hour will not be available due to the earlier sunset. Please note that this limitation is a result of our operating hours being aligned with daylight.​

We offer 3 options for keeping your belongings safe and dry while on the water. Keep in mind, one phone size dry bag is included for each participant in the Intro to Kayak lesson. Other add ons such as lockers can easily be added to your booking at the end of checkout.

Please Note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. Add ons are available while supplies last. If the add-on is unavailable when you arrive, we will refund you or provide an alternative solution to store your belongings.

Cancellation policy: You must give at least 24 hour notice for cancellation to receive a full refund for most experiences. Cancellations within the 24 hour period leading up to event may be eligible for store credits. 
Minimum requirement for participation: requires the ability to swim short distances and tread water without a personal flotation device (PFD) or lifejacket on. We do not do a swim test and rely on the honesty of the participants to answer this question truthfully in order to remain safe on the water. A properly fitted and sized PFD or lifejacket is required to be worn for all TISUP on-water experiences. Please be on time upon returning equipment. Late fees may be added especially for end of day rentals returning after our closing time. ​ ​
