Sunset paddles with your choice of illuminated board or kayak.

Join us for an unforgettable sunset and night paddling experience. As the sun goes down, and the city lights come on, we power up and glow with the flow. Minimum requirement for participation requires the ability to swim short distances and tread water even without a lifejacket on.

Plan your ferry or water taxi

Plan your trip accordingly with the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal or choose a water taxi service we have listed in our contact page. The schedule shown here is the summer schedule which runs from around June through August. The ferry takes about 10 minutes and we are located 5 minutes walk from the ferry at Wards Island.

What to expect

Show up about 15 minutes early if you can. This helps us organize people and for you to get changed and ready for the experience.

Once you're ready to go, we will send you out on the water on your own or with your party. We all regroup at Sunfish Cut once everyone has arrived. This allows people some free time to explore and enjoy the golden our with the Toronto Skyline view.

When our entire group is here, we will get a group shot of everyone with the skyline in the background.

When we are satisfied with the view, we will head out as a group around Snake Island and into Turtle Alley, which is a beautiful nature spot. The under board/boat lighting is especially interesting in this spot due to the abundant plant life in the area. We often see small fish and other aquatic life swimming under our feet.

The Royal Canadian Yacht Club is next on our evening adventure where we will witness some beautiful boats and excited club members eager to ask questions about our contraptions.

On the way back to home base we may be lucky enough to spot the Baltic Belle shipwreck at certain times of year. The tour is not over yet! This shipwreck is mere feet below the surface but is sometimes hard to see due to aquatic plant growth.

When we do finally get back to our launch pad, we will be met with a calming and brightly lit area to land, anbd debrief before heading to the boat bound for the mainland.

This is a rough itinerary and of course may change due to weather conditions and wind direction. We may decide, for instance, to reverse the order of some of these stops to take advantage of wind at our back rather than our front.

Please arrive changed and ready to go. There is a public washroom at the Fire Station at 235 Cibola Avenue. As with all TISUP experiences on the water, you must have the ability to tread water and swim short distances to partake.

You will receive an automatic email once you book outlining your next steps. If you don't receive the email (if it's sent to junk mail), click  here for instructions. Please plan your trip. Be prepared to forfeit your experience with no refund if you do not arrive on time. If tour does not reach the minimum amount of guests, we may cancel. You will not be charged until a minimum of 4 people have signed up or we decide to run the trip.

Important: Your scheduled start and end times vary according to your specific tour date.  Please check the schedule by clicking "BOOK NOW".  Arrive early to the ferry docks to ensure that you get to the launch site on time. Take the Wards Island Ferry. For details on how to get to the launch site, see our contact page or your confirmation email once you book through this website. Please note that ferry times may change without notice. We are not affiliated with the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and offer the schedule below to the best of our knowledge.
