We use high end kayaks from reputable manufacturers built with comfortable seating, tie downs and compartments for storing valuables. Whether your plan is to relax on the water or travel to the other side of the island for a nice picnic, we have the perfect boat for your adventure! After booking, you'll receive a link to a waiver which is automatically associated with your reservation. Alternatively, you can access the waivers via the link in the website footer.

  1. After completing your booking you will receive an automatic email outlining your next steps. If you don't receive the email (check your junk mail first), click here for further instructions. 
  2. ​Please arrive on time. We may not be able to extend your booking if you arrive too late.
  3. Experiences are subject to inclement weather. If it is deemed unsafe to be on the water, we will cancel your booking and you will receive a full refund

Perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely paddle. They are compact, light, easy to use and great for exploring the immediate area. We carry boats from two brands: the Seaflo and the Clearwater Designs Nunu.

​The Iqaluit and Inuvik are the highest quality recreational kayaks that maintain stability, agility, and tracking for beginners and experienced alike! This boat features a large cockpit for those who want more space for comfort or bring their pets or children along for the ride free of charge!

The Riot Escape is a stable sit-on-top model with an open design that is comfortable and easy to get on and off. It includes a rudder for easy steering, a compartment for storage in the front and back, and adjustable back straps for extra comfort.

The Manitoulin touring kayak is a great kayak for getting the most distance for minimal effort. They are equipped with foot-controlled rudders for easy turning. Try for a 3 hour excursion and pack your lunch for a unique experience!

The Nunuvut Tandem is a good boat for a dynamic duo looking to get out in the same boat. It has ample room for your stuff or your pets. 

When booking, the price on our booking platform will appear as half the cost. This is the price per person. You must book the tandem in pairs (even numbers of people).

We provide three options to keep your belongings safe and dry during your time on the water. You can easily add these items to your booking during checkout.
Please note, we are not liable for any lost or stolen personal items. Add-ons are available while supplies last. If an add-on is unavailable upon your arrival, we will issue a refund or offer an alternative storage solution.

can you swim?
Cancellation policy: You must give at least 24 hour notice for cancellation to receive a full refund for most experiences. Cancellations within the 24 hour period leading up to event may be eligible for store credits. 
Minimum requirement for participation: requires the ability to swim short distances and tread water without a personal flotation device (PFD) or lifejacket on. We do not do a swim test and rely on the honesty of the participants to answer this question truthfully in order to remain safe on the water. A properly fitted and sized PFD or lifejacket is required to be worn for all TISUP on-water experiences. Please be on time upon returning equipment. Late fees may be added especially for end of day rentals returning after our closing time. ​ ​
