Standard First Aid & CPR-C

First Aid/CPR Blended Learning Program
What is a blended learning first aid course? Blended learning is a combination of in-class, face-to-face instruction with online instruction. Typically, theory and information are conveyed to participants outside of the classroom through an online component. This allows for the in-class component to concentrate on skill development and the application of theory. In the case of Red Cross First Aid courses, a self-paced, online session is completed first, followed by an in-class skills session with a Red Cross First Aid Instructor.
YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE THEORY
Through computer - based training structured in a self-paced modular format, the blended learning Standard First Aid course allows students to access audio and text instruction as well as instructional videos and quizzes. A passing mark of 80% is the requirement to proceed to each successive module.
Advantages of the computer-based training are as follows:
• You work at your own pace and schedule
• The courses are interactive and customizable
• You have unlimited course access for two years
• And you can start your course immediately
ATTEND IN-CLASS TRAINING
Following the completion of the computer-based theory, students are required to attend the in-class portion of the course. This is delivered by an instructor and the focus is on the practical application of the course content.
WRITE THE EXAM
Upon the successful completion of the in-class training, student write the government approved Standard First Aid test. It combines online multimedia instruction with hands-on training.
Certification is valid for three years (3)
The online portion can take up to 6 hours. This must be completed prior to the course start date. You may complete this all in one or in chunks. The course fees include a First Aid Manual.
This course is brought to you by F.A.S.T. Rescue Inc.
