​​What is Blended Learning?
​Blended learning is a combination of face to face instruction and online learning. Theory and information is studied at your own pace at home before coming to the in person session to apply and practice your skills.

In-Person Training and Examination ​
​You must complete your online theory before attending the in-person portion of the course. The in-class training is essential for developing and demonstrating your ability to apply the online theory. After successfully completing your training, you will write the government approved Standard First Aid test. Upon passing the examine you will receive your certification, valid for 3 years.

Hours

- JUNE 1 to SEPT 30-

Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM to roughly an hour before sunset

Saturday - Sunday: 9:30 AM to 7PM

*Some experiences happen outside these hours.
**Closed on days with inclement weather such as extreme winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms. 
Cancellation policy: You must give at least 24 hour notice for cancellation to receive a full refund for most experiences. Cancellations within the 24 hour period leading up to event may be eligible for store credits. 
Minimum requirement for participation: requires the ability to swim short distances and tread water without a personal flotation device (PFD) or lifejacket on. We do not do a swim test and rely on the honesty of the participants to answer this question truthfully in order to remain safe on the water. A properly fitted and sized PFD or lifejacket is required to be worn for all TISUP on-water experiences. Please be on time upon returning equipment. Late fees may be added especially for end of day rentals returning after our closing time. ​ ​
